CFA® Workshops

The Institute of Advanced Finance (IAFI) offers comprehensive and result-oriented preparation workshops for all three levels of the CFA® program (www.cfainstitute.org) to help create cutting-edge financial analysts and managers. IAFI recognized the immense value a CFA® charter can add to the professional development of practitioners in the financial services domain and has been the pioneer in coaching for the CFA® examinations in India. Over the past few years, we have successfully trained working professionals across leading corporates (Deutsche Bank, HSBC, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Sun guard, Thomson Reuters, TCS, Infosys, etc).

Comprehensive classroom teaching

Our Level 1 classes start from mid-January / mid-July every year (for the June and the December L-1 exams respectively) and consist of exhaustive weekend workshops for 15-20 weekend (Saturday & Sunday) with more than 100 hours of lecturing alone – the highest amount of top-class faculty teaching time by any coaching centre anywhere in India. The L-2 and L-3 sessions commence in early-January and consist of 30-35 weekend sessions with nearly 180 hours of faculty lecturing time. These intensive coaching sessions by financial industry experts coupled with thorough sample exams are guaranteed to keep you ahead of the pack.

Best in class faculty
We promise you the best in class faculty with an unmatched pedigree. All the key faculty members are from the IITs/IIMs with specialisation in finance and with proven track record as advisors, analysts and managers at leading New York/London based trading houses. They also have additional qualifications like CFA®, FRM®, CPA®, CAIA and overseas MBA. We do not have a generalist philosophy to teaching – each faculty member at IAFI, through his education and experience, develops a strong expertise in a specific area (such as financial statement analysis, economics, fixed-income, derivatives). High Faculty-Student Ratio
To make the sessions more meaningful and personalised, we limit the batch size to only 20 students. This enables all students to readily access the instructors for any doubt clearing as and when needed. Our faculties are reachable by phone, e-mail and also face-to-face meetings beyond the class timings based on a candidates need.

Retention is the key
While our expert faculty members bring clarity and understanding of the underlying concepts for the CFA® examinations, we recognize that this is not sufficient by itself. Given the large and diverse subject matter expertise needed to succeed, we put equal emphasis on retention of the topics imbibed in the classroom. Our scientifically designed workshop sessions have several layers of in-built revisions of the key areas to keep the candidate well prepared to succeed on the exam day.
